Optometrists today are much better trained and equipped to detect a variety of retinal disease including those of the peripheral retina. However, dilemmas in accurate diagnosis and management still remains. These are addressed in this lecture.
Optometrists are often faced with the challenge of managing and referring patients with various retinal conditions. The case-based portion of the lecture exhibits a number of commonly encountered scenarios and reviews the appropriate management.
The utilization of OCT in eyecare has been a game changer in better diagnosis of conditions. This lecture will also review the application of this imaging technology for posterior segment disease.

Testing & CE Certificates:
Tests will be emailed out to attendees in the week after the course. Attendees will be given a name badge at registration. This will be used to scan attendees in and out throughout the day and must be worn at all times. CE certificates for regular hours will be emailed appx. 1 month after the course. Certificates for tested hours will be emailed by ICO appx. 1 month after the testing due date.

Cancellation Policy: Registrations may be cancelled for a $25 fee until Friday, January 24. Cancellations will incur a $50 fee between Saturday, January 25 and Wednesday, January 29. No refunds will be given after Wednesday, January 29. All registrations received after Wednesday, January 29 will be considered on-site and will incur a $25 on-site registration fee.
