This is a ‘sneak peek’ into exciting diagnostic and treatment technologies that currently or soon will affect optometry. Technologies range from gene therapy to augmented reality, advanced devices for disease diagnoses and the newest therapeutics. The program also looks at the latest pharmaceutical advances in eyecare with a focus on the most recent FDA approved agents. The pipeline for the next couple years will be explored with an emphasis on the most innovative prescription medications for ocular disease management. We will then review the etiology, key diagnostic factors and treatment options for iritis management. Seven ‘rules’ of effective iritis management will be discussed to help clinicians effectively treat iritis and avoid potential complications.

Testing & CE Certificates:
Tests will be emailed out to attendees in the week after the course. Attendees will be given a name badge at registration. This will be used to scan attendees in and out throughout the day and must be worn at all times. CE certificates for regular hours will be emailed appx. 1 month after the course. Certificates for tested hours will be emailed by ICO appx. 1 month after the testing due date.

Cancellation Policy:
Registrations may be cancelled for a $25 fee until Friday, January 5. Cancellations will incur a $50 fee between January 5 and January 14. No refunds will be given after January 14. All registrations received after January 14 will be considered on-site and will incur a $25 on-site registration fee.
