Khurana Family Eye Care is a newly established private practice located within a Costco. We are looking for a talented OD to join our busy, growing practice! We have an experienced optometric optician who works up patients for the doctor. Current equipment includes an auto-refractor, NCT, digital lensometer, and Daytona Optos.
*Even if you cannot commit to permanent part-time help, please consider filing in for some of the dates below. We are also flexible with considering other schedule requests but occasional weekend help is the priority!
Fridays $80/hour, Saturdays $100/hour
Regular duties will include:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnose & assist in the treatment of ocular disease
- Prescribe corrective lenses
- Promote healthy vision through counseling & educating patients
- Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, & progress
- Handle eyecare emergencies
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
- Valid IL license to practice optometry
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- A strong sense of workplace professionalism & personal ethics
- Familiarity with EMR for patient documentation
This is an excellent opportunity for an O.D. interested in supplementing their income or looking to add part-time hours to their schedule.
